STIPRAM Becomes the Best PT Version of SINTA Kemendikbud Ristek

For Four Years in a row STIPRAM Becomes the Best PT Version of SINTA Kemendikbud Ristek.

STIPRAM has managed to occupy the top rank for four consecutive years since 2019 to date. This achievement was achieved because STIPRAM was chosen as the most productive higher education institution from the higher school family in Indonesia in producing scientific publications. The ranking was obtained from the SINTA (Science and Technology index) of the Ministry of Education and Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbud-Ristek) of the Republic of Indonesia, August 2022.

“STIPRAM won the top rank for the National Higher Education cluster out of a total of 1312 Colleges in Indonesia in various scientific backgrounds, such as Economics, Engineering, Education and Teacher Training, Administration, Health, Computer Science, Information and Communication Technology. Research collaboration between STIPRAM lecturers both at home and abroad has contributed to the achievement of STIPRAM's vision to become an ideal international tourism university," said the Head of STIPRAM, Dr. Suhendroyono was accompanied by the Deputy Chairman of STIPRAM, Dr. Damiasih in Yogyakarta, Wednesday (17/8).

According to Suhendroyono, in addition to the things above, STIPRAM was also ranked first nationally according to SINTA's version of the 88 recorded tourism universities in Indonesia. The ranking can be seen on the SINTA page of the Ministry of Education and Research and Technology.

Please note that SINTA is a platform created by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education since 2016 that provides access to information on publishing scientific journals, books, chapters in books, conference proceedings, copyrights, and patents from research outputs of university lecturers in Indonesia. SINTA as a web-based research output information system offers quick, easy and comprehensive access to measure the performance of researchers, collaborations, institutions and scientific journals in Indonesia. In addition to ranking universities, SINTA does not only import Scopus data. But also using data from Google Scholar and Web of Science (Clarivate Analytics).

Furthermore, Suhendroyono was accompanied by Vice Chairman Dr. Damiasih, expressed his appreciation to the Research and Technology Division and LPPM (Institute for Research and Community Service) who have managed STIPRAM journals and the number of scientific publications produced by STIPRAM lecturers until August 2022 was 1,414 scientific articles.

“STIPRAM always encourages lecturers and students, including postgraduate students, to continue working in high-quality scientific publications. Several STIPRAM scientific journals, both national and international journals, are currently being addressed and evaluated to obtain accreditation from SINTA under the management of the Research and Technology Division," he explained.
